Mr. Satoshi Nakajima made his debut as a sushi chef.
Mr. Nakajima graduated from sushi school Shuhari, and has been making sushi at the school’s restaurant, located inside the Shinjuku Center Building, since April.
Shuhari is a word used in kendo and tea ceremonies and is said to refer to the spirit of protecting traditional techniques first, then breaking them down and departing to follow your own path.
Mr. Nakajima, who says “I want to have sushi that no one else does”, crated wonderful dishes using SULA NYC’s culinary argan oil and created a unique sushi experience for us.
The white asparagus appetizer is mixed with a nano-oxidizing sauce made with culinary argan oil and the aged scorpion fish is sprinkled with culinary argan oil and puffer salt.
From small bowls of salmon roe, mushroom miso soup to strawberry desserts, everything is delicious, and chef Nakajima is full of originality, and has already reached the state of shu and ha of Shuhari. I look forward to his future success.
