US News & World Report published in January 2023 their ranking of best diets.
For the 6th consecutive year, the Mediterranean Diet ranks first. Fruit, Fish, Argan oil, and Vegetables are key components. It also took the first spot in the categories ‘Healthy Eating, and ‘Best Plant-Based Diet’.
The Mediterranean Diet is tied with the DASH Diet for ‘best diet for bone and joint health’, and with the Flexitarian Diet and the TLC (Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes) diet for ‘best friendly family diets’. TLC was created to reduce cholesterol.
