The culinary argan lunch spring event with SULA NYC’s culinary argan oil was held on March 3rd, 2023, at L’ESSOR (www.lessor.jp), a French restaurant in Roppongi, and the culinary argan oil was used in all 7 dishes from amuse to desserts.

All seats were fully booked, including counter seats and a private room. It seemed that everyone truly enjoyed Chef Wei’s original creative cuisine, and I am happy because I offered this event to Chef Wei. We also gifted a mini bottle of SULA NYC’s culinary argan oil to all the guests.

In particular, the luscious scrumptiousness of the appetizer Salmon Mikyu (the recipe for this dish is featured on the US site above), sauteed mushrooms and monkfish roti were exquisite.

And I ate the culinary argan oil blancmange for dessert and felt the happiness of sharing delicious food with wonderful people. Not only the food but also receiving professional and elegant service in a space decorated with beautiful flowers and art is the taste of eating out’s real happiness. The event was very well received, so I would like to do it again in the fall.

I received great feedback from the participants for the culinary argan oil course at L’ESSOR, so I would like to share some of the comments. Before I do that, however, I would like to thank Chef Wei and the wonderful staff again for their consummate professionalism to make the lunch a success!

Argan oil has 4x more Vitamin E than olive oil and is loaded with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s not only good for your health, but it’s a delicious magical oil that brings out the “umami” of your ingredients.

Following are some of the comments:

  • It was my first time eating culinary argan oil! Every plate is a microcosm. It was a very luxurious time to touch the fantasy while feeling the soul of France.
  • I was impressed with the taste of all the dishes. Mr. Wei is a great Chef! I am already looking forward to the autumn menu.
  • I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious and beautiful dishes made with culinary argan oil and rare ingredients!
  • I forgot my daily life and was filled with happiness with a course using culinary argan oil, from Kyoto Carrot Mouse, culinary argan oil Cappuccino as an amuse-bouche, to dessert.
  • I once again thought that culinary argan oil is a very attractive oil. I hope you can spread it further.
  • It was a very happy time with delicious food. I will use the culinary argan oil that I received as a gift.
  • Today I tried culinary argan oil for the first time. Argan oil has high moisturizing power and is good for the skin, so it is also useful for moisturizing the internal organs, and now the organs are finished and plump. Happiness seems to come from within. Thank you very much.
  • My husband has never given 100 points to any restaurant he has been to, but he said that L’ESSOR’s culinary argan oil dishes are 105 points! I’m looking forward to the next time.
  • It was delicious and fun. Thank you for the souvenirs of culinary argan oil bottles. I will participate again next time.
  • All dishes were very delicious. I enjoyed the food that I can’t taste at home.
  • It was a little extravagant lunch, but it is very important to have time like this. It was a rich time that filled not only my stomach but also my heart. Thank you very much.
  • I learned about edible argan oil for the first time, but I was blessed with a wonderful opportunity that made it even more attractive. Antioxidants are essential for healthy longevity and beauty. I want to incorporate it as much as possible.
  • It is very important to share delicious and healthy food with loved ones. It was my first time for culinary Argan French, but I wanted to eat such delicious food with them too.
